PLANNING APPLICATIONS

This is the page for ‘nerds’ or’anoraks’ maybe.  Heaps of detail and formal notifications, and then along comes something striking amid all the bureacracy and form filling. Camden’s  planners are not very quick at putting the details of the advertised applications on-line. We will try to keep up with their communications but we are only amateurs and the professionals find it hard to keep their website updated. Applications posted in red will be those on which the Forum has been formally consulted. NB at present Camden is also consulting (but not  very much) on  http://www.camden.gov.uk/redirect/?oid=%5Bcom.arsdigita.camden.cms.contenttypes.Consultation%3A%7Bid%3D2019141%7D%5D&context=live  They say “we can only accept ‘representations’ that relate to the ‘soundness’ or legality of the documents”.

Recent planning applications notified for Kings Cross Central  and the adjoining railway stations include the following list. Even when the official date of expiry of consultation has passed it is often worth sending in your comment. Enter into Camden’s planning search web page the registered number of the application (typically YYYY/1111/P)   The first four figures are the year, the following four identify the application and are issued consecutively through the year. The suffix P means general planning; L means listed building application.

Put the full sequence of numbers and letters into http://planningrecords.camden.gov.uk/Northgate/PlanningExplorer/GeneralSearch.aspx in the Application Number box directly under the heading ‘Search Criteria’ and press Return (Enter) to see details of the application and scroll down to find links to documents
